One concept that the ObamaCare act keeps bringing to the forefront is that “Doctors should be paid for quality not quantity.” Now that sounds great doesn’t it? Who wouldn’t want a doctor that practices quality medicine? I know that I do, because I try to be one.
But what does “quality” mean to those who support socialized medicine as the Obama Care plan so richly endorses? It means that a doctor is monitored as a “panel of experts” sees fit to judge. This may be the same panel of experts that decided all girls 10 years old–that’s right, TEN years old should be vaccinated against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
As I was against this intrusion into the health care of my young female patients, and freely voiced my opposition to the state immunization gurus, I would have been labeled a doctor who wasn’t a “quality” physician. My recommendation to the mothers of these ten year olds was “let’s wait and see” what the vaccine side effects may be over the next few years since the number of ten year olds having sexual intercourse is relatively low. Now guess who is reeling as there has been possibly 32 deaths secondary to this vaccine that everyone needed so badly?
