Time magazine recently laid it’s annual goose egg by naming The Protester as person of the year. Apparently, the award is intended to go to the most influential person or persons in the last 12 months. Â
The key word here is influential! Who did the protesters influence, may I ask? Have any policies changed? No! Have any new ideas been hatched that will change anything in the near or distant future, either political or socioeconomically? No! Well, not unless you are referring to the few cities that will now reinforce public policy on keeping “protesters” out of the city parks.
How about the president of change who continues to destroy our nation through socialism? How about the president of change who continues to shackle private business and subsequently keeps the unemployment rate over 9%? How about the president of change whose foreign policies subject our country to the servitude of foreign nations small or great? Now that is being influential!
So, Time magazine does it again. Well, at least they can brag that their name had more online hits this week. Here’s another one. Now you know why hardly anybody even buys their magazine any more.
