Most of you have probably already heard or even seen Oscar Pistorius, the double amputee from South Africa, compete in the Olympics. If not, you will. And you should.
What an example this young man is to those who are less fortunate than those of us with two real feet. And what a shame this young man is for those who have two feet and refuse to run in the race called life.
So many people are choosing to coast through their short time on earth with minimal accomplishments. Minimal efforts are being put forth to rise above their natural station in life and achieve for themselves and their posterity true success.
Instead, they choose the path more traveled, the path less challenging, the path of least resistance.
Watch him run and then refuse to accept ease and retirement for yourself and anybody else you meet. Â He is amazing. As his mother always said, “Brother, get your shoes. Oscar, get your legs. Let’s go.”
